Want to be a Volunteer of the Michigan Philharmonic (VMP)?
We can use your help in many ways. Here are just a few of the opportunitities for you to donate your time, talent and energy to the Philharmonic.
Administrative Volunteer
Assist with poster and brochure distribution around town, light office work and other special projects
Receptionist Volunteer
2-4 hour shifts answering our phone, selling tickets, giving out information about the Philharmonic
Marketing Volunteer
Group ticket sales for Philharmonic concerts
Education Programs Volunteer
Assist at the Michigan Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Concerts, or MPYO music library or
usher at our 4th grade children's concerts
Friends of the Phil Volunteer
Home Tour host or assisting on other Friends activities
Box Office Volunteer
Assist with selling tickets and will-call for the Philharmonic concerts
Philharmonic Concert Usher
Distribute program books at orchestra concerts and assist with seating
Concert Production Volunteer
Assist Philharmonic staff with equipment set up/striking
(usually requires lifting and other physical demands)
